    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was purchased from the artist in 1997 and had been on long to the University for four years prior to the purchase. Prior to its placement on campus, it was exhibited at Flushing Meadows Corona Park (Flushing, New York) and other national sites. IAS files contain copies of related press releases, including WSU News Release, Sept. 13, 1995 and Nov. 5, 1997; and articles from The Wichita Eagle, Oct. 1, 1995, Sect. D, pg. 1-2; and Wichita State University's Sunflower, no. 33, vol. XCVIII (Oct. 20, 1993).
