A sculpture depicting a nude girl holding a plant in her proper right hand and reaching to pet a fawn with her outstretched proper left hand. The fawn has a piece of the plant in its mouth, which it has just bitten off from the branch in girl's proper right hand. A tree stump covered with drapery supports the rear leg of the female figure. The figures stand atop the uneven floor of the forest with tree roots, twigs, foliage, and rocks. The entire sculpture is mounted upon a low, rectangular platform.
