Description:
Relief depicting a woman, a young girl, and a youth, seated together in the foreground and involved in an exchange. Woman is dressed in a scarf and long dress, seated in profile, and extends her proper left hand towards the young people. The girl is seated with her back towards the viewer and her face, in profile, turned towards the woman; her proper left hand is extended, palm up. The youth kneels, places proper left hand on hip and extends proper right hand towards the woman; he holds a small object between thumb and index finger. The figures are in low relief; behind them, a landscape of buildings and mountains in the distance, rendered schematically in inscribed lines.

Russin joined the

Wyoming
faculty in 1947, and in the late 1940s and early 1950s, he completed a series of bas-reliefs and plaques for campus buildings, including the Education Building, Agriculture Building, Knight Hall, the Commerce and Industry Building and the Law Building.
