Inscription:  (Bottom of sculpture, incised lettering:) Barrett 1971 (Plaque on base:) CLASS OF JUNE, 1944 signed Description:  An abstract brushed aluminum sculpture composed of various geometric shapes fitted together. These shapes project in all directions, forming recessed cavities and open spaces. The sculpture is mounted on a low square base. This untitled work is part of the artist's "Manhattan Series" and is popularly referred to as "Tooth Fairy." The Alice Sinsar Gallery in Ann Arbor was involved in the selection and placement of the sculpture.
