    Description: 
    Heroic full-length bronze portrait of Thomas A. Hendricks. He wears late nineteenth century dress including suit and long overcoat. His proper right hand is tucked into his vest across his chest. The bronze sculpture stands atop a tall granite pedestal. The pedestal has arches, columns and pilasters. Flanking the sides of the base of the pedestal are two full-length bronze female figures. Each figure is seated and dressed in classical robes. The figure of Justice is on the proper left. Her proper left arm is raised to shoulder-level. She holds a sword in her proper right hand. She has long braided hair. The figure on the proper right holds a tablet on her lap with her proper left hand. She holds a writing tool in her proper right hand. A book lies beneath her proper right foot. Her hair is knotted behind her head. The elaborate granite pedestal rests on a three-stepped platform.
