    Remarks:
Barbara Groseclose's 1975 publication noted the title as "Nude" in the collection of Rinhart Galleries, Litchfield, Connecticut (no. 73). In 1981, Macbeth Gallery noted the painting titled "A Woodland Nymph" now in their collection was the same as the painting titled "Nude" formerly in the collection of Rinhart Galleries. The painting is not the same as "Wood Nymph," a 17 x 21 inch oil on paper mounted on canvas listed in the Groseclose publication in the Rokeby Collection (John W. Aldrich, Richard Aldrich, and Roseland A. Michahelles) (no. 67).
