    Description: 
    A bronze relief medallion set into the center of a stone bench. The relief is divided into three sections, with inscriptions on the outer two sections and a figure group in the arched center section. The center section is a relief of a man and a boy wearing classical drapery. The man appears to be lighting the boy's torch with his own. The boy holds a book in his proper right hand. Ivy grows next to the man's proper right foot. Just above the bronze relief, set into the stone bench, is a horizontal wooden panel with an inscription. Just above the wooden panel is a stone panel also inscribed with text.
