A sidewalk mosaic depicting a hopscotch diagram containing illustrations of children playing various games. The scenes depict children flying kites, jumping rope, rolling hoops, playing marbles, turning cartwheels, swinging from trees, chasing each other, drawing, etc. The mosaic is bordered with a row of bricks and contains an inscription commemorating
Boston
's Latin School.

The piece was commissioned by Townscape Institute and commemorates oldest public school in the U.S.,

's Latin School which was established nearby in 1635. At the bottom of the piece is the motto of the Latin School which translates "Work conquers all --opportunity for all."
