    Description:
Bust of William Singleton dressed in a jacket and vest rests atop a dark grey granite stepped base. Singleton is depicted with a moustache, a long, wavy beard, and slightly balding head. A bronze relief on the front of the base depicts an allegorical scene of a winged male figure with a long beard. The male figure is holding, or possibly cutting, the hair of a female figure in front of him. The female figure is holding, or possibly pouring, an urn which rests on top a short column. The scene is encompassed with laurel and oak leaves and there is a ribbon tied in a bow at the bottom. Below the relief, at the bottom of the base is a bronze adornment consisting of an open book with an unsheathed sword laying diagonally across its pages. A feather sticks out of the book on the right side and branches of leaves appear on both sides of the book. On the left side of the base is a bronze compass and level, the Masonic symbol. A geometric symbol appears on the right side of the base.
