An abstract, bird-like sculpture made from an assemblage of found objects, such as farm implements, machinery parts, and metal tools. The objects have been welded together and painted red. The sculpture is bolted to a rectangular concrete slab which is partially buried. The sculpture stands in a wooded section of the
campus
near the

's nature trail.

assisted the artist in finding agricultural tools and metal machinery parts which were used in constructing the sculpture. IAS files contain a

press release, dated April 21, 1980, announcing that visitors were encouraged to watch the artist at work on the sculpture. IAS files also contain a copy of a flyer, dated May 1989, describing the outdoor sculpture of
