    Description: 
    An abstract sculpture resembling a Cubist head with a prominent eye and lips atop a horseshoe-shaped form acting as legs. The sculpture is painted white with colorful facial features. The sculpture rests on a concrete slab in a grass median strip.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was donated to the City of West Hollywood by the artist around 1986. The sculpture is referred to as "The Kiss." In July 1995 the sculpture was moved from its original location in the median strip on Santa Monica Boulevard at Doheny Drive to make way for a new sculpture. It was relocated four blocks away to the Santa Monica Boulevard median strip at Robertson. IAS image files contain photographs of the sculpture in its original location. IAS files contain articles from the Los Angeles Times, July 21, 1995, pg. B5; and the Los Angeles Magazine (Nov. 1989): pg. 170.
