Bust of Brigadier General Marcellus Stovall in uniform. The bust is set atop a two-sectioned base. The upper section has an inscribed plaque.

Remarks:
Brigadier General Marcellus A. Stovall commanded a brigade for the Confederate Army during the
Vicksburg
campaign. Sited on former property of
Vicksburg
National Military Park. Erected by the federal government. The monument is on the National Park Service List of Classified Structures (LCS no. 03347). IAS files contain a copy of the LCS report form. Bronze cost $615 paid by Federal Government.
