    Description: 
    A relief portrait, bust-length, of Colonel Skidmore Harris. He wears a uniform, but no hat. He has a full beard and moustache. The relief is on a granite stele, which rests on a low rectangular granite base.

    Remarks: 
    Cost of bronze was $200 and was paid for by the federal government. Monument located on land formerly the property of the Vicksburg National Military Park. The monument is on the National Park Service List of Classified Structures (LCS no. 03390). IAS files contain a copy of the LCS report form. Bronze cost $200 paid by Federal Government.
