This sculpture of Casimir Pulaski, a Polish-born general who organized the American Cavalry during the Revolutionary War, was installed on the 150th anniversary of his death at Savannah in 1779. The sculpture was dedicated twice in October of 1929. On May 10, 1969, the sculpture was relocated to Main Street. In 1989 the sculpture and the grounds around it were refurbished. A new wading pool, sprinkler system, and night lights were added. In September of 1990 the sculpture was rededicated. IAS files contain a form dated April 11, 1991 from the Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Catalog.
