    Description: 
    The Bottle House is a one-story, wood frame house with walls and a foundation made from over 50,000 bottles imbedded in adobe. Tommy's Tiny Town is a miniature town of approximately 37 wood and concrete houses and buildings, between 2-3 feet in height.

    Remarks: 
    The Bottle House was completed by Tom Kelly in Feb. 1906 and restored in 1925. Tommy's Tiny Town was built by Tommy Thompson in 1969 and it is situated in the yard on the north side of the Bottle House. IAS files contain pamphlet published by Friends of Rhyolite, entitled "Rhyolite Tour Guide," c. 1992, in which the sculpture and City of Rhyolite are discussed in more detail.
