    Bronze bust of Abraham Lincoln. He is clean-shaven and wears a bow tie. The bust sits on a tiered concrete base which is painted black.

    Formerly located Los Angeles County Courthouse, East lobby, Los Angeles, California 1961-1988.
    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was given to the county by the Los Angeles County Bar Association. Cost of the sculpture was $5,000. The sculpture was originally installed in the east lobby of the county courthouse. It was moved in 1988 to its present outdoor location, replacing a sculpture of Senator Stephen White which had previously been located there. IAS files contain copies of related articles from Los Angeles Times, May 2, 1961 and Sept. 21, 1988.
