Inscription:  (On right central column:) Jim Johnson Sc. 1976 (On plaque on front top of base:) PRESENTED/BY JONESBORO/ROTARY/CLUB/1976 signed Description:  Abstract sculpture consisting of two elements resembling monkey wrenches that are mounted vertically, one on top of the other, head to head. The top element is turned 90 degrees to the flat plane of the other. Sculpture is mounted on a low, wide platform base. Subject:  Abstract -- Geometric Object Type:  Outdoor Sculpture -- Arkansas -- Jonesboro Sculpture Owner:  Administered by City of Jonesboro, 314 West Washington, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401 Located Corner of Main Street & Monroe Street, Jonesboro, Arkansas Remarks:  Sculpture was commissioned by the Jonesboro Rotary Club as a gift to the City of Jonesboro. The artist worked with Jerry Ward, who performed sandblasting; Jonesboro City Engineer Gene Gardner; and Sam Hummelstein of Hummelstein Iron and Metal.
