    Description: 
    A dog stands with head and tail erect and alert. He wears a studded collar and is painted medium to dark brown with a white underbelly.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was swept away in the Johnstown Flood of 1889. It was found in the debris and returned to the John Morley mansion in lower Main Street where it stood until 1903. It was then moved to the home of Mr. Morley's son and donated to the City in 1944. It was restored in Oct. 1973 by Louis Popp of Popp's Welding Shop and again in June 1993 by Johnstown America Corporation. In its current site it is surrounded by a 6 foot high chain link fence.
