Description:
A sundial consisting of a globe formed by four intersecting rings. One ring has the figures of the zodiac attached to its exterior and Roman numerals on its interior. An arrow with a star cluster on its top goes through the globe. The globe is supported on the backs of six turtles atop a circular pedestal. The pedestal is set on a two-tiered, circular base.

Commemorates
Bloomfield
's 150th anniversary. Funds were contributed mostly by the children in the public and parochial schools. Additional funds were made by various civic associations and home and school associations. Merrill Huber, Town Engineer, assisted in building and installing the sundial.
