    Description: 
    A watering trough for horses constructed with a forty-two inch diameter bowl resting on a sixteen inch diameter base. A slender post topped by a ball rises from the center of the bowl.

    The watering trough was originally located a quarter of a mile away on Route 126 between St. Blair Church & the Baptist parsonage in Bellingham, Massachusetts. The artist was paid $131.00 for the watering trough. IAS files contain a copy of the Massachusetts Historical Commission Form C - Monuments dated June 27, 1973.
