Description:
Sculpture consists of three American Indian women, each on her own rock-like plinth, installed on a rectangular base. The figures stand in a circle with their backs to each other. All wear their hair in braids and all wear knee-length dresses, leggings and capes. Each woman holds a round concave basket in her proper left hand and tools in her proper right hand. The figures are representative of the Hopi, Navajo and Zuni tribes.
