Sculpture depicts a young female figure drinking from a lamppost fountain. She is barefoot, wears a short-sleeved dress and her hair is in two braids. She holds up one of the braids in her proper left hand as she bends to drink water from her cupped proper right hand. The fountain is an octagonal lamppost with a horse's head on each side above a basin. Water spouts from the horses' mouths.
