    Description: 
    Granite bas-relief in the pediment of a building. The female head of Liberty is seen in proper left profile and is surrounded by a wreath. On either side of the wreath is an eagle in flight facing Liberty. Rays, or beams, radiate out from the center bottom of the wreath.

    Remarks: 
    The relief was created for the new Savings Union Bank in 1910. The building has changed owners several times. The design of the sculpture incorporated the Head of Liberty design derived from the old $20 gold coin and the eagles derived from the new $20 gold coin of 1910. The design of the pediment was determined by the officials of the San Francisco Savings Union Bank.
