    Description:
Four relief panels on the upper exterior of the Natrona County Courthouse. One long panel depicts a shepherd with a sheep, a covered wagon drawn by oxen, a modern city, a farmer driving a team of horses to pull a plow, and a railroad worker on a set of tracks. Around the corner, facing the building's entrance, is an American Indian wearing a headdress and ceremonial robes and holding a peacepipe in his hand. Facing the Indian on the other side of the doorway is a nineteenth century cavalry soldier with a U.S. flag behind him. The second long panel shows a frontiersman on horseback, a mounted Indian with a spear chasing two bison, an industrial complex including an oil rig, a mounted cowboy roping a fleeing steer, and a cavalry officer on horseback holding a small triangular flag.
