    Description: 
    A four-piece playground sculpture grouping (originally five pieces) with an amusement park atmosphere. The pieces of sculpture are named: Sun-Seen Seesaw, Sloal the Goal, and Missy. Sloal the Goal looks like a solid blackboard or goal, or a cartoon thermometer. The other three sculptures consist primarily of triangular elements combined with bars for climbing and hanging. Each sculpture is set upon a concrete pad.

    Remarks: 
    The artist created the sculptures in an effort to encourage children to practice their reading skills while playing. Another piece in the grouping was named "Sidney Slide," but that piece is now missing. IAS files contain an excerpt from a Public Arts Project brochure, published by the City of Atlanta, ca. 1978-1979.
