    Description: 
    A vertical abstract sculpture with an upper section consisting of an open design with four columns supporting a flat roof. An aluminum rectangle hangs from the inside roof of the upper section and when the wind blows hard enough, the aluminum piece hits the concrete columns and makes a noise. The lower section of the sculpture is solid with circular designs on two of its sides.

    Acquired 1971.
    Remarks: 
    Commissioned by the Central Missouri State University Union at a cost of $300. According to the artist, the sculpture is symbolic of architecture, the visual arts, love, aggression, the Germanic countries of Northern Europe, and the countries of Southern Europe. The sculpture was formerly located inside the Student Union and was moved to its present location in 1993. IAS files contain a cataloging sheet for the University collection. IAS files also contain a photocopy of a brochure which includes the artist's statement about the meaning of the sculpture.
