    Description: 
    Six reliefs representing highly abstracted interpretations of industry's basic materials--steel, oil, and coal as well as industry's basic activities--manufacturing, construction and transportation. They are carved in low relief on the faces of blocks that form the revetment of the porch walls on either side of the entrance doors. On the left side, "steel" is an image of a steel mill; "oil" is an image of an oil refinery; "coal" is an image of a coal factory. On the right side, "manufacturing" is an image of a factory; "construction" is an image of a building being constructed; "transportation" is an image of three grains, side by side, speeding out of the wall.
