    Description: 
    Sculpture consists of a column mounted on a pedestal with a square base. A female figure in Classical drapery is seated on the pedestal at the base of the column. She holds an American flag in her proper left hand and a palm branch in her proper right hand. Below her is a medallion of William McKinley - a double portrait as a Civil War sergeant and as President. Below the medallion is a relief of a battle scene. The column is topped with an eagle.
