    Description:
Sculpture depicts a Chesapeake Bay waterman using hand tongs to harvest oysters. Dressed in coat, hat and boots, the bronze figure holds the oyster tongs in both hands, horizontally. He stands on a tiered boat structure made of white Mt. Airy granite. There is a tray of oysters behind him on the boat. The sculpture is set within the center of a circular Texas red cobblestone fountain basin, with granite ice flows.
