    Description: 
    An abstract fountain atop a circular pedestal. The sculpture flairs outward and upward. Water is ejected vertically from the inner center of the piece. The fountain is placed in a reflecting pool.

    Remarks: 
    One of four memorials erected on campus, the fountain commemorates those lost in a Nov. 14, 1970 plane crash. 75 died, including the entire Marshall University football team and its coaches. The fountain is erected outside the Marshall University Student Center Plaze, renamed Student Memorial Center.
