BEYER CARVED THE BRICKS WHEN THEY WERE STILL WET CLAY. AFTER DRYING AND FIRING THEY WERE ASSEMBLED BRICK BY BRICK AS CITY HALL WAS CONSTRUCTED. BEYER EVENTUALLY MADE OVER TWENTY SEPERATE (sic) CARVINGS FOR THE BUILDING. HIS WORKS ARE SEEN IN THE MAIN LOBBY, THE BUILDING EXTERIOR, AND THE STAIRWELLS.
