The installation begins with a paving of flat-surface stones set flush in the ground. A walkway of granite descends at a low slope from this paving and leads to a low-walled square room sunk into the ground. The entrance to this sunken area is an arch created by two tall rough-hewn blocks of granite capped by a third block. In the sunken room are blocks of varying heights and surfaces, some smooth, some rough. In one corner is a horizontal block with a smooth rounded top surface resembling a chaise. In another corner is a series of three corner steps, smoothly finished.
