    Male torso, possibly of Zeus, on a pedestal. His proper right hand holds two jagged shafts with arrow ends. Head wears low crown, with jagged edges. Hair and beard are short and curly.

    The statue is one of a pair at either end of a 22-basin stone cascade, part of the garden of Southern Vermont College, formerly the estate of Edward Hamlin Everett. Architect George Burnap designed the cascade.
