A nearby plaque reads: WATER FORMS - WEST
TEXAS
/Presented in honor of Iris and Malouf Abraham/in recognition of their great contributions to the quality of life in the
Texas
Panhandle./Dr. Malouf and Therese Abraham/Mert and Betty Abraham Cooper/Bill Ed and Marjorie Abraham. The
sculpture
was originally intended to be a kinetic fountain, but hard water in the area precluded proper functioning of the fountain. In September of 1991, with permission from the Abraham family, the fountain was converted to a stationary
sculpture
