    Description: 
    A mechanical windmill. The sculpture consist of a central upright girder, painted brown, which supports a platform and a metal pole which supports the moveable portion of the work. The platform is also supported by metal poles, painted orange and yellow, which extend diagonally from the foundation to the bottom of the platform. The moveable portion of the sculpture is comprised of a metal ring with eight paddles evenly spaced along the outside surface of the ring. The ring rotates along the vertical axis of the metal pole when the paddles are propelled by wind. In the center of the ring, attached to the metal pole, are two freeform shapes, one painted yellow and the other painted orange, laced with heavy wire.
