Remarks:
Commissioned through the Works Progress Administration. These pieces were originally part of a group of fourteen sculptures, of which six remain. They were located at American Island Park, on the Missouri River, until the river dammed and the island was flooded. According to the book "Maka Teepee 1880 to
Chamberlain
1980," these sculptures were created by Andre Boratko.
