Dolphin Fountain, (sculpture). Artist:  Carr, Sally Swan, sculptor. Title:  Dolphin Fountain, (sculpture). Dates:  ca. 1963. Digital Reference:  Medium:  Sculpture: cast fiberglass with bronze patina; Basin: concrete. Dimensions:  Sculpture: approx. H. 7 ft. x Diam. 6 ft.; Basin: approx. H. 8 in. x 16 ft. Description:  Fountain consists of a low round retaining pool with a smaller, round, decorative basin on a cylindric pedestal in the middle. Three dolphins standing on their tails support the basin. The central figures in the basin are an upright dolphin ridden by a mermaid who holds a fish in her hand. The three lower dolphins spout water into the basin.
