He is barefoot and wears rolled-up trousers and a three-quarter length sleeve shirt. The figure rides bareback, with his proper right hand resting the horse's backside and his proper right hand on the horse's mane. The horse's head is down, and appears to be walking slowly. The sculpture stands on a square base.
