    Description: 
    Standing figure of an infantryman in light clothing, with his collar open. He is wearing a rakish wide brimmed hat, tilted up on the proper right. He stands with a rifle cradled in his proper right elbow and his proper left hand rests lightly on his proper left hip. The figure is set on a large granite boulder.
