    Remarks: 
    The monument honoring those who served during the Civil War was erected by the Cobham Post 311 of the Grand Army of the Republic at a cost of $1,200. In 1987, the local V.F.W. provided a new concrete base. IAS files contain newspaper articles from the Warren Mail, June 7, 1885 and the Warren Ledger, June 5, 1885; and an excerpt from the History of Warren County by J.S. Schenk, 1887.
