    Owner:
Fulton Opera House, 12 North Prince Street, P. O. Box 1865, Niche over entrance, Lancaster, Pennsylvania 17603
    Remarks:
This sculpture is a replica of a cedar wood sculpture originally installed in a niche over the entrance to the Fulton Opera House (IAS record 76009237). Due to deterioration, the original was moved indoors in 1984 and this fiberglass replica replaced it in the niche on the exterior of the opera house. At the time of the summer 1994 SOS! survey, the fiberglass replica was temporarily placed inside the opera house pending the completion of renovations on the exterior of the opera house. The photograph in the IAS image files shows the sculpture in its temporary interior location. IAS files contain an excerpt from Walter C. Hager's "Fulton Hall and It's Graven Image," Lancaster, PA: Lancaster County Historical Society, vol. XXIII, 1918, pg. 1461-148.
