    Description: 
    Bust of Joseph Johns (Schantz) stands on a pedestal and tiered base. The figure wears a coat with a standing collar and a cravat. There are basins and relief plaques on two sides of the pedestal. The relief on the right depicts a female figure in profile, wearing flowing garment with a faint image of a valley in the background. The relief on the right contains three men in period dress holding scrolled paper and building implements. There is a log cabin at the rear.
