    Description: 
    A Boy Scout dressed in an early twentieth-century era uniform stands at attention and salutes with his proper right hand. Uniform items include a brimmed hat, formal jacket and trousers tucked into knee-length boots.

    Remarks: 
    Gift of the Pawhuska Kiwanis Club as a Bicentennial project in honor of the Boy Scout Troop #33. The Troop, formed in May 1909 was the first Boy Scout Troop in America. The sculpture was financed with the sale of twenty-four 14 inch replicas at $1,150 each. The statue is partially sheltered under a porch overhang. IAS files contain a related article from the Pawhuska Daily Journal-Capital, July 6, 1976 and information from the Historical Society.
