    Exhibitions:
    World's Columbian Exposition, Chicago, 1893.
    Remarks:
It is believed that G. A. Boeckling, original developer of the Point, purchased this vase from the World's Columbian Exposition, held in Chicago in 1893. The vase may have moved within Cedar's Point, as the park was radically changed in the 1950s. IAS files contain excerpt from a J. W. Fiske catalog, entry no. 333 "Vase Night and Morning, On Windsor Pedestal" (Thorwaldsen).
