    Description: 
    A standing female figure draped from the hips to the feet with the drapery meeting and folding down the proper right side. She is facing east with her head titled downward. Her hair is placed in a classical bun just above the nape of the neck. Her proper right leg is forward and slightly bent at the knee with her heel elevated. Her proper left arm arcs across her torso and once held an something.

    Remarks: 
    Cincinnati artist, Baker, who studied and worked in Rome, sent Egeria to be exhibited at the Western Art Union in 1945. It was purchased by Walter Gregory and presented to Spring Grove in recognition for its role as a museum without walls. Egeria was a counselor to the Roman king Puma Pompilius, a Roman goddess associated with water and childbirth. The piece is sited next to Geyser Lake in the cemetery.
