    Description: 
    Abstracted figure of St. John, standing, holding a book to his chest with both of his hands. He wears a full length robe which drapes over his arms; the toes of his proper right foot stick out from under the robe. His head appears to be tilted slightly back, with his eyes gazing upward. The hands are quite large in comparison to the body.

    Remarks: 
    SOS surveyor reported signature on sculpture to be A. Rochet, however, from additional church materials it was determined that the artist's name is Francois Brochet. Undetermined if the surveyor was in error or if the signature was partially illegible. IAS files contain church publication, which includes more information and an illustration of the work.
