Inscription:  (Foundry mark --a circle with a raised bar)/Benedict 1987 (On plaque on lower left side of base:) THOUGHT / DEXTER BENEDICT / SEPT. 1987 signed Foundry mark appears. Description:  A kneeling female figure with her proper right arm raised and her fingers extended toward the sky. Her proper left arm is raised slightly, but is held close to her body, and the palm of her hand is open toward the sky. Her head is tilted back and her face is turned toward the sky. The sculpture is installed atop a square brick section of a triangular brick flower bed.
