    Provenance:
Formerly located Lake George Battleground Park, Lake George, New York
    Remarks:
The fountain was a gift from former Conservation Commissioner George D. Pratt. A few years after it was erected, it was vandalized and a fence was placed around it. It no longer functions as a fountain. Lake George Battlefield Park was once known as Lake George Battleground Park. The inscription on a nearby stone reads: THE INDIAN/A. PHIMISTER PROCTOR SCULPTOR/GIFT OF/GEORGE D. PRATT/1921. IAS files contain an article from The Post-Star (Glens Falls, NY), July 5, 1939, pg. 8-9.
