    Description: 
    A relief tablet affixed to the front of a large boulder and placed atop a square base. The relief tablet depicts a small stone building surrounded by trees and shrubbery. Inscriptions appear at the top and the bottom of the relief. The emblem of the United States Daughters of 1812 is placed the bottom center of the relief tablet.

    Remarks: 
    The relief tablet was erected by the Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry Chapter of the National Society of the United States Daughters 1812, State of New York. Eliphalet Remington made the first Remington gun near where the tablet is installed. The relief tablet was moved in 1973 when a nearby highway was changed. IAS files contain a copy of the dedication program.
