    Description: 
    A young Native American man leaning forward holding his dog with his proper right hand and bow and arrow in his proper left hand. In his proper left hand he holds a bow and arrow. The sculpture is installed atop a large granite boulder.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture, a gift of Alfred C. Clark, was originally located at Coopers Park, marking the site of James Fennimore Cooper's home, Otsego Hall. In Jan. 1940, the sculpture and base were moved to Lakefront Park to make way for a new sculpture of Cooper to be place in the same location. IAS files contain a condition assessment dated Nov. 9, 1986 from the State University College at Buffalo.
